Born in Costa Rica in 1950.
He studied engraving under Krishna Reddy at New York University, and panting at The Arts Students League of New York from 1980 to 1983, and he holds a Master of Arts from New York University (1983) and a Certificate in Aesthetics from the University of Bordeaux (1984).
He works as a painter and sculptor on a variety of supports including canvas, paper, metal, wood, etc. He draws his inspiration from physics and biology, working on the razor’s edge limit between necessity and contingency.
